Hello again — I’m Bri Steel.
I want to take a moment to explain why I started my own company, Bixby Realty, and what that means for my clients.
Bixby Realty was built on a simple idea: real estate works best when you feel informed, supported, and never pressured. I help clients across Monterey County buy and sell homes with confidence, combining real-world experience, honest advice, and a hands-on approach to every transaction.
Bixby Realty is my boutique brokerage, owned and operated solely by me as Bri Steel, Broker. I personally handle every aspect of each transaction — from strategy and negotiations to marketing, inspections, and closing — rather than passing work off to team members. I’m proud of this approach because it ensures details don’t fall through the cracks and communication is always direct.

Experience & Background
I’m one of the top-producing Realtors® in the Monterey area, consistently handling around $30 million in coastal real estate transactions each year. I graduated from one of the top business schools in the nation, and for the next decade, I had a successful career as both a 7x World Champion professional athlete and an award-winning territory manager for a top medical device company. I bring the same level of intensity and focus to my real estate career, with the dedication and drive to make sure that YOU win.
I’ve lovingly grown my company, Bixby Realty, into a locally owned brokerage built on trust and strong client relationships. I pride myself on an honest and constructive approach to real estate, going the extra mile, and working diligently for every client. I bring focus, confidence, and enthusiasm to each and every project.

I hold my broker’s license in both California and Hawaii and have an extensive, proven track record of success. I’m a competitor at heart and a negotiator at work — especially when it comes to representing buyers in multiple-offer situations. I have the experience and creative techniques required to win, and I pride myself on attention to detail, persistence, and strong negotiation skills.
Making Listings Shine
One of my specialties is helping listings stand out. With a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a degree in sales from the nation’s top sales school, I meticulously create my own property websites, produce listing videos, compile virtual tours, and add personal touches as if I were listing my own property for sale.
From staging preparations to expert videography and photography, dynamic internet displays, and leveraging my extensive network of buyers, sellers, agents, and tradespeople, I work to make every property presentation the best it can be.
Construction & Design Passion
Construction and design are at the core of what I love about real estate. I’ve personally bought, built, and remodeled multiple projects in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. My experience spans everything from ground-up construction, ADU projects and conversions, to rehabs of distressed and abandoned properties.
I have designed my own plans, managed crews of craftsmen, and shepherded projects through city and county regulatory agencies. I’ve developed a keen eye for estimating costs and pride myself on finding creative solutions in almost any construction situation. I love sharing my ideas, contacts, and networks of skilled tradespeople with my clients.
Personal Life
On a personal note, I’m a Carmel Highlands and Capitola homeowner, private pilot, animal lover, and avid outdoorswoman. I’m a former professional extreme sports athlete, competing in wakesurfing and kiteboarding. My passions revolve around being in nature — surfing, trail running, and hiking.
I’m married to a local orthopedic surgeon, surfer, spearfisherman, and home builder, and together we have three young boys who are the lights of our lives.
